Jay Marvin Monday 12-29-08 Hour 2
We opened this hour with a call on the economy and the future of the middle and poor classes in America. Our topic this hour: Chip Saltsman is defending the Christmas CD full of offensive songs that he sent to members of the RNC to anybody who will listen. Chip Saltsman, former Tennessee GOP chairman and former campaign manager for Mike Huckabee, recently announced his candidacy for chairman of the Republican National Committee and stated that the party needed a new direction. It sounded good at the time. The GOP was hit pretty hard during the 2008 election. Saltsman takes credit for ensuring that George W Bush defeated Al Gore in 2000 in Tennessee. Saltsman is personal friends with the conservative satirist who sings the songs on the CD that was sent out to RNC members as a Christmas present. The CD contains songs like, "Barack the Magic Negro,""The Star Spanglish Banner,""Wright place, wrong pastor,""We Hate the USA,""Ivory and Ebony," and "John Edwards' Poverty Tour." What do you make of this?
Jay Marvin Monday 12-29-08 Hour 1
